Job summary

Tetra Tech AMT is seeking an Obstruction Evaluation Specialist to perform verification of aeronautical studies and ensure NAS safety under 14 CFR Part 77. You will coordinate with FAA and manage filings, ensuring timely processing of required notices and data submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a CPC background, with strong interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skills to support EA/AAA activities and PSR follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
• Experience with automation tools, CAD software, or similar applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Acrobat.
• Knowledge of airspace or procedures design.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify aeronautical studies under 14 CFR Part 77 for NAS impact.
• Coordinate External Supplemental List actions and FAA Form 7460-2 processing.
• Input data into electronic OE/AAA applications and file filings.
• Assist first-time OE filers through the OE/AAA site.
• Coordinate NRA reviews with FAA Airport Division and craft responses.
• Follow up PSR letters and issue termination letters when needed.
