Job summary

Tetra Tech AMT in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Air Traffic Control Specialist/Senior Manager to lead airspace modernization and instrument flight procedure projects. You will provide expert guidance on IFP design, risk, and regulatory compliance, while engaging stakeholders across clients and authorities.

The role requires extensive FAA ATC experience, proven leadership of technical teams, and ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 20+ years of FAA ATC and management experience.
• Minimum 15 years as CPC or military equivalent.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and client relationships.
• Strong FAA operations, airspace design, and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and guidance on IFP design and procedures.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver ATC modernization projects.
• Review FAA orders and directives affecting IFP design.
• Develop presentations and executive briefings on ATC topics.
• Coordinate with FAA and international authorities on projects.
• Mentor staff and support business development initiatives.
