Job summary

Tetra Tech AMT in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Air Traffic Control Specialist/Senior Manager to lead complex ATC and airspace modernization initiatives. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical quality, manage budgets, and serve as a primary client contact across domestic and international programs.

The successful candidate will bring 20+ FAA ATC and management years, CPC or military equivalent, and a proven track record in strategic advisory, risk management, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 20+ years of FAA ATC and management experience.
• Minimum 15 years as CPC or military equivalent.
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and client relationships.
• Strong FAA air traffic operations and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with airspace or procedures design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to optimize airspace and IFP procedures.
• Review FAA orders, directives, and criteria affecting IFP design.
• Develop executive presentations and technical materials on ATC topics.
• Support international airspace analysis, modernization, and optimization.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams with focus on quality, schedule and budget.
• Mentor staff and support business development in ATC services.
• Travel up to 30% as required.
