Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Warwick, RI, part of Oshkosh Corporation, seeks a Machine Repair Technician Level 3 to lead troubleshooting and maintenance of complex baggage handling systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges.

In this senior technical role, you will manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, provide team leadership, and ensure safety compliance and operational excellence across airport systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• 5+ years' experience in maintenance operations.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair BHS and related electrical/mechanical systems, including industrial controls, wiring, and components.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs).
• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance; lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts.
• Lead and delegate tasks while communicating professionally with customers and team members.
• Accurately document maintenance activity in CMMS and analyze system data to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate critical updates to supervisors and operate equipment such as forklifts and company vehicles.
• Support daily operations by clearing baggage jams and ensuring minimal system downtime.
• Comply with company safety program and trainings.
