Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Airports team in Colorado to lead large, multi-discipline airport design projects from planning through delivery. You will drive contract negotiations, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and client relationships while maintaining quality and financial performance.

The role emphasizes collaborative leadership, strong communication, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in consulting and 10+ years in airport project management.
• Strong understanding of engineering business consulting.
• Excellent client service orientation, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with ability to craft innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large, complex airport design projects across the firm.
• Ensure project quality to client and firm standards via best practices and regular reviews.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders to align goals and timelines.
• Manage resources including staffing, budgeting, and procurement.
• Monitor milestones and progress using project management tools and workflows.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
• Solicit client feedback to improve Olsson’s level of service.
