Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks an Executive Staff Coordinator to support the Airport Manager in coordinating operations across MWAA facilities, including Reagan National and Dulles. The role reports to the Vice President and Airport Manager and supervises administrative staff and interns.

You will coordinate policy development, budget alignment, HR programs, and community outreach while interfacing with officials, tenants, and partners to ensure compliant, efficient office

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible administrative and business management experience.
• Ability to perform program management in time-sensitive, high-visibility situations.
• Knowledge of budget and fiscal management with multi-account coordination.
• Ability to draft and review public information documents and presentations.
• Skill in building relationships to coordinate work across teams.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and managing unit operations.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
• Ability to speak and write effectively; proficient with computer software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates work across Airport Departments to support the Manager’s Office.
• Coordinates development and implementation of Airport policies, programs, and operations.
• Represents the Airport Manager in dealings with officials and industry partners.
• Analyzes issues related to airlines, tenants, and concessionaires.
• Works with Budget staff to align O&M budgets and expenditures.
• Supports HR programs and annual performance planning; may coach supervisors.
• Advises on community relations and serves as a liaison with external entities.
• Coordinates media activities and prepares reports for the Manager.
• Supervises administrative staff and interns; conducts site inspections.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
