Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Supply Control Coordinator to manage daily inventory, ordering, and issue of parts for aviation maintenance at Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

You will coordinate sourcing, BOM maintenance, and just-in-time inventory in collaboration with planners, technicians, and contractors to ensure uptime of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience coordinating materials and equipment for maintenance.
• Forecast equipment and material needs and procure resources.
• Knowledge of solicitation or purchasing methods for compliant procurement.
• Procurement logistics and just-in-time inventory control expertise.
• Coordinate between utility functions and warehousing for parts and supplies.
• Ability to work safely and perform basic data analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory, ordering, maintenance, and control for division parts and supplies.
• Log parts in databases, perform cycle inventories, and maintain records.
• Research suppliers, obtain pricing, and ensure timely procurement per guidelines.
• Support BOM analysis and assist planners/schedulers with parts requirements.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure correct items and quantities.
• Assist in policy development for inventory control and process improvement.
