Job summary

Hallmark Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Airport General Operations Manager for IAH. You will lead operational and administrative activities, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure profitability and safety across accounts.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to work with airport authorities while maintaining staffing and service levels to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of passenger handling or airline ops experience.
• 3+ years in a management position.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Hallmark head office departments to satisfy client and internal needs.
• Ensure budgets are respected and hours billed; manage profitability.
• Control costs and analyze budgets for profitability.
• Ensure contracts with clients are executed efficiently and profitably.
• Assess marketing potential of accounts and recommend services.
• Ensure policy and safety compliance across operations.
• Provide effective leadership to all Business Unit Managers.
• Identify and develop future leaders for supervisor roles.
• Interface with airport authorities and maintain staffing levels.
• Resolve service inhibitors and ensure on-time performance.
• Audit QA quarterly and report progress to the station manager.
• Achieve Key Performance Targets across accounts.
• Review safety procedures and FAA/TSA compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with HAS customers' management.
• Lead quarterly Town Hall meetings and promote team camaraderie.
• Foster leadership within the management team.
