Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a senior leader to oversee airport assets and facilities management, tenant project management, and related programs to ensure lifecycle maintenance and compliance at IAD and DCA.

The role directs asset management, tenant projects, and environmental health and safety programs across major capital initiatives, reporting to the Airport Manager and coordinating with engineering and other departments.

Qualifications

• Nine years of progressively responsible experience in asset and facilities management or related fields.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and ability to manage operations.
• Knowledge of construction principles, codes, and asset management.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of airport assets and the construction, modification, repair, and maintenance of airport structures, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Review and approve tenant construction project permits and ensure compliance with plans and codes.
• Coordinate asset and facilities services with the Airport Manager, Engineering, and other departments.
• Advise the Airport Manager on tenant projects and asset and facilities management matters.
• Forecast and manage the department's budget and staffing to meet priorities.
