Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company, is seeking an experienced Airframe Design Engineer to support metallic and composite structures for helicopter fuselage. You will develop data, layouts, and drawings using CATIA V5/V6 and 3Dx, contribute to product lifecycle, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants should have a mechanical engineering degree and 9+ years in aerospace design, with 5+ years in CATIA. This full-time role may require travel; U.S.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of professional experience in Aerospace or related Mechanical Engineering Design.
• 5+ years of CAD experience with Catia V5/V6(3DX) for developing mechanical design models.
• Extensive knowledge of structural design, materials, and load analysis.
• Experience applying technical standards and conceptual problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Develop 2D airframe layouts and cross-sectional designs.
• Create 3D solid models and surface designs for structural components.
• Apply GD&T to engineering layouts and drawings.
• Develop part specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Design composite laminates and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop bonded assembly manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate across disciplines to meet requirements and milestones.
