Job summary

Serco invites applications for a Senior Aircraft Sustainment Engineer to support the Bomber Directorate at Tinker AFB, OK. You will apply maintenance knowledge and logistics modeling to identify sustainment risks and provide decision-quality data for early lifecycle decisions.

Role requires an active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a strong background in DoD programs, including SAP engineering experience. Up to 10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Data Analytics with 20+ years of DoD experience.
• Two years of DoD SAP engineering experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Operate modeling and simulation software to assess aircraft operations and sustainment needs.
• Support Airworthiness processes and lifecycle engineering activities per relevant standards.
• Assist with requirements development, design analyses, allocations, and verification.
• Analyze performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate cost, manpower, facilities, and supply chain at unit/base level.
• Identify logistics risk areas and assess impacts on availability.
• Develop technical reports and presentations to support management decisions.
• Communicate assumptions and risks clearly to the program team.
• Assist drafting contract documents and act as tech advisor in source selections.
