Job summary

AAA-USA Inc is seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Assembly Technicians to support the manufacturing of advanced business aircraft in Red Oak, Texas. This role requires hands-on expertise in sheet-metal, precision drilling, riveting, and structural fasteners.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in aerospace structural assembly, read complex drawings, and perform to exacting standards while adhering to safety and quality protocols. Willingness to relocate or travel is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on aircraft structural assembly or aircraft sheet-metal experience.
• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in close-tolerance drilling, reaming, countersinking, and structural fastener installation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with solid riveting and pneumatic riveting equipment.
• Ability to independently read and interpret complex aircraft engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete a hands-on plate test in Mobile, Alabama, before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision aircraft structural assembly, fitting, installation, and fastening per drawings.
• Drill, ream, and countersink close-tolerance holes with correct edge distance and angles.
• Install structural hardware including solid rivets, blind rivets, Hi-Loks, Hi-Lites, Jo-Bolts, and other fasteners.
• Perform precision sheet-metal fitting, alignment, riveting, and assembly of structural components.
• Operate pneumatic and electric tools such as rivet guns, drill motors, angle drills, and torque wrenches.
• Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and go/no-go gauges.
• Interpret complex aircraft blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Maintain corrosion protection processes and surface preparation as required.
• Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy and fastener quality.
• Identify manufacturing discrepancies and quality concerns and communicate them.
