Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mechanical assembly or aerospace assembly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specs, and tape measurements.
• Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, drills, impact wrenches, clamps and other assembly equipment.
• Basic understanding of quality control and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work with fiberglass and composite materials.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work regular schedules, overtime, and various shifts.

Aufgaben

• Assemble aircraft components, subassemblies, and composite parts per drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly documentation.
• Measure, align, fit, and install components for proper fit and function.
• Install and bond aircraft parts using adhesives, rivets, fasteners and other methods.
• Prepare fixtures and tooling to support locating, drilling, bonding, and assembly operations.
• Route and secure wire harnesses per specifications.
• Verify materials, parts, and equipment before starting operations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, drills, clamps, and other equipment safely.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance.
• Support production schedules while maintaining safety and workmanship.
