Job summary

AAA USA is seeking highly skilled Aircraft Structures Assembly Technicians for an opportunity supporting the manufacturing of advanced business aircraft in Red Oak, Texas. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with aircraft sheet metal, precision drilling, riveting, and structural fasteners.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years in aerospace structures, the ability to read complex drawings, and a proven track record of high-quality work within tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on aircraft structural assembly or aircraft sheet-metal experience.
• Experience performing precision structural assembly in aerospace manufacturing or aircraft production.
• Advanced proficiency in close-tolerance drilling, reaming, countersinking, and fastener installation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with solid riveting and pneumatic riveting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex aircraft engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Willingness to complete a hands-on plate test in Mobile, Alabama, before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision aircraft structural assembly, fitting, installation, and fastening per drawings.
• Drill, ream, and countersink close-tolerance holes with edge distance and angularity.
• Install solid rivets, blind rivets, Hi-Loks, Hi-Lites, Jo-Bolts, and other fasteners.
• Assemble structural components with precision sheet-metal fitting and riveting.
• Operate rivet guns, drill motors, angle drills, torque wrenches and related tools.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, grip gauges, go/no-go gauges.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Maintain FOD prevention and safety standards.
