Revolution Technologies in Vandalia, Ohio is looking for a highly experienced Senior Aircraft Structures Mechanic / Structural Technician IV to support complex aircraft structural assembly, fabrication, modifications and repairs. The role requires extensive hands-on aerospace experience and precise interpretation of blueprints.

You will perform precision drilling, rivet work, fastener installation, and structural modifications while ensuring dimensional tolerances and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant aircraft structures experience.
• Advanced assembly, fabrication or repair experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical documentation skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience with aerospace fasteners and precision assembly.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural quality standards.
• Own tools in good working condition and security clearance readiness.

Responsibilities

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Aircraft Structures Mechanic / Structural Technician IV to support complex aircraft structural assembly, fabrication, modifications, and repairs in Vandalia, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aerospace professional with advanced aircraft structures expertise and a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing quality requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing complex aircraft structural assembly and fabrication.
• Reading and interpreting aerospace blueprints and technical drawings.
• Performing precision drilling, countersinking, reaming, and riveting.
• Installing Hi-Loks, rivets, and other aerospace structural fasteners.
• Maintaining proper edge distance, fastener pitch, and dimensional tolerances.
• Using micrometers, calipers, jigs, fixtures, and calibrated tools.
• Performing structural modifications, repairs, and advanced quality inspections.
• Collaborating with engineering and quality control teams.
• Providing technical guidance to other technicians.

What We're Looking For:

• Typically 10+ years of relevant aircraft structures experience.
• Advanced aircraft structural assembly, fabrication, or repair experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical documentation skills.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with aerospace fasteners and precision assembly.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structural quality standards.
• Own tools in good working condition.
• Ability to meet required security clearance requirements.

Preferred: Aerospace and defense industry experience, military aviation background, relevant technical certifications, or an associate's degree in a related discipline.

• Location: Vandalia, OH 45377
• Compensation: Up to $45/hr (depending on experience)
• Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire
• Schedule: 40 hours per week (day shift)
