Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Quality Control Inspector to join our aviation maintenance operations in California. This role requires meticulous inspection of aircraft structures, systems, and components to uphold airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

You will document findings, authorize work progression, and audit technician practices. Candidates must hold a valid AMT license, have 5+ years in QC or maintenance inspection, and be proficient with manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• AMT license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years in aircraft quality control or maintenance inspection.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, structures and procedures.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures, systems, and components during maintenance phases.
• Verify conformity with manufacturer specs, engineering orders, and regulations.
• Document findings and maintain traceability in maintenance records.
• Audit technicians' work practices and tool accountability.
• Identify non-conforming work and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve quality issues.
