Job summary

Engineering Services, LLC seeks an Aircraft Quality Inspector to inspect aircraft, components, and shop processes to ensure compliance with technical instructions and quality standards. You will interpret data, review directives, and coordinate with QA, maintenance, management, and engineering to resolve issues.

The role requires six years in aircraft maintenance with UH60 experience and may prefer an FAA A&P license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency certification.
• Six years total experience in aircraft maintenance with UH60 Aircraft.
• Two years rotary or fixed wing inspector under the Army Maintenance Management System.
• FAA A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs aircraft and shop inspections to assure compliance with technical instructions and related directives.
• Interprets technical data and evaluates maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable aircraft, components, and equipment.
• Reviews technical publications, directives, reports, and subsequent revisions and confers with quality assurance, maintenance, management, and engineering personnel to solve work-related problems.
• Inspects, tests and certifies mechanical and hydraulic, fuel, electrical and pneumatic aviation components.
• Inspects and reviews maintenance source documents, inspection records, and other related forms used in aircraft, vehicle, and equipment maintenance to ensure forms and records are current, and comply with established procedures, service guidance, regulatory and contract specifications.
• Implements and enforces quality policies and procedures that meet the requirements of ISO 9001/AS9110, Ground Operating Procedures, and Repair Station Quality Control Manual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
