Job summary

Qualifications

• ASNT-TC-1A or NAS410 level II certification in NDI techniques.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA certification or related skills (NDI, Welding, Egress, Machining).
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing.
• Experience supporting NASA/DoD contracts.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair structural, mechanical, and electrical aircraft elements.
• Train others in diagnostics devices, computers, and hand tools.
• Provide oversight and may direct maintenance tasks.
• Perform Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
• Prepare parts for inspection and evaluate indications using NDI methods.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste per regulations.
• Document maintenance per QA and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain control tools and inventory.
