Job summary

Airbus Helicopters in Columbus, MS is seeking a Senior Aircraft Mechanic for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00–10:30). Join the team to perform fabrication, repair and installation of aircraft parts, and support helicopter programs on the H145 Final Assembly Line.

Minimum six years as aviation mechanic; A&P license preferred but not required. Reading blueprints and working with shop data are essential. Onsite with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience as aviation mechanic.
• A&P license preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on assigned aircraft or parts in the mechanical function.
• Fabrication, repair and installation of aircraft parts and components.
• Maintenance and repair of helicopters and support of helicopter programs.
