Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, MS, is seeking a Senior Aircraft Mechanic to join the H145 Final Assembly Line on a second shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00–10:30).

You will perform work on aircraft and parts in the mechanical function, including fabrication, repair and installation of components, and support of helicopter programs. The role requires reading blueprints and service manuals and ensuring work meets FAA and company specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience as aviation mechanic.
• A&P license is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on assigned aircraft or parts in the mechanical function.
• Fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft parts.
• Maintenance and repair of helicopters and support of helicopter-specific programs.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals to meet specs.
