Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Maintenance Trainer in Palmdale, CA to establish and lead comprehensive aircraft maintenance training. You will develop curricula, prepare technical materials, and coordinate training across divisions to ensure compliance and readiness.

The role requires experience in maintenance training, the ability to obtain a U.S. government Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25% with initial 24-week training prior to relocation.

Qualifications

• Level 3 requires HS diploma and 9 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years and a Master’s with 3 years.
• Experience in training and/or maintenance is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and to initial training for 24 weeks before relocation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and directs a training system and conducts classroom and practical instruction for aircraft maintenance.
• Analyzes current and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop programs.
• Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction.
• Provides support to divisions to determine training needs and conduct maintenance training.
• Maintains training and qualification record systems and currency in technical developments.
