Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Maintenance Trainer in Palmdale, CA. The role centers on establishing a comprehensive training program for aircraft maintenance, with classroom and hands-on instruction across systems and tools.

Qualified candidates will have extensive training/maintenance experience and the ability to develop and sustain courseware. Travel to multiple locations and a Secret clearance are required as part of program obligations.

• Experience with courseware sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and directs a training system and conducts classroom and practical instruction for safe maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment.
• Analyzes training needs and develops training programs.
• Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction.
• Supports divisions in determining training needs and developing maintenance training programs.
• Maintains training and qualification records.
• Keeps currency in technical developments and training methods.
• Coordinates all required technical training.
