Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on the Tech Ops team to oversee on-shift aircraft maintenance functions at the designated location. You will assign technicians, manage resources, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while driving productivity and cost controls.

The role requires leadership with a strong understanding of FAA regulations, 5 years in aircraft maintenance, and the ability to lead a unionized workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P Certificate required.
• Minimum of 5 years in the aircraft maintenance industry.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lead and coordinate maintenance teams on shift.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location.
• Assign aircraft maintenance technicians to meet productivity and cost control targets.
• Ensure resources are available and team members are accountable for work performed.
• Provide leadership to on-shift labor workforce to maximize productivity.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance of operations and activities.
• Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups and report status to leadership.
