Job summary

United Airlines is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Technical Operations team. You will coordinate with Maintenance Control, Dispatch, and Flight Crews to manage discrepancies, delays, and planned maintenance across our fleet.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and seamless operations in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must hold an FAA A&P Certificate, have at least five years in aircraft maintenance, and be legally eligible to work in the

Qualifications

FAA A&P certificate required and recognized by FAA.
Minimum five years in aircraft maintenance with regulatory experience.
Meets or exceeds performance goals and safety objectives.
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
Successful interview and reliable, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate recovery of maintenance discrepancies initiated by flight crews and track deferred items.
Notify status of aircraft out of service or with maintenance delays to Maintenance Control and Local Operations.
Coordinate and track planned maintenance for thru flights.
Update TOC and AMIS logs for aircraft with significant maintenance activities.
Coordinate station supplier requirements to support maintenance activities.
Identify and communicate maintenance troubleshooting and repair procedures as required.
Ensure delay reports are entered and delay data is analyzed.
