Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at NAS Fallon, NV to supervise organizational level maintenance for assigned aircraft under contract. You will direct maintenance actions to restore or keep aircraft, equipment, and components in serviceable condition while optimizing resource use.

The role requires deep CNAFINST 4790.2 knowledge, oversight of flight operations, and the ability to coordinate with government oversight, aircrew, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience with 4–6 years supervision.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel.
• Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 and basic supply procedures.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance actions to retain or restore aircraft to serviceable condition.
• Direct and monitor maintenance actions to meet flight schedules efficiently.
• Release Aircraft Safe for Flight and monitor SCIR documentation in NALCOMIS/OOMA.
• Coordinate workload priorities, QA liaison, and safety/compliance programs.
• Train lower-level personnel and manage daily work group operations.
