Job summary

Flightstar Aircraft Services, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Lead to head a crew performing maintenance and engine servicing in accordance with FAA standards. You will act as SME, mentor junior mechanics, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production Control, managing work scope, and using AMROS for parts requests and documentation. Strong knowledge of ATA codes and shop procedures is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in aircraft maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED required; B737 or A320 familiarity preferred.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred or eligibility for FAA repairman’s certificate/A&P application.
• Proficient in Flightstar’s ERP system AMROS and related maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew in aircraft maintenance and engine servicing per FAA standards.
• Ensure proper parts tagging and accurate routing.
• Coordinate with Production Control to maximize productivity.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentor junior mechanics.
• Review work orders and ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness.
