Job summary

Amazon Air's Network Control Center Maintenance Operations team is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Operations Manager to lead AI-enabled transformations across the global fleet. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery.
• 5+ years Airline, military, or equivalent experience with 14CFR 121 operations in line maintenance, maintenance control, heavy maintenance or equivalent.
• FAA Part 65 certificate or equivalent.
• Experience with data analytics and technology implementation in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations workflow and coordination between maintenance providers and network operations.
• Manage real-time decisions regarding maintenance events, aircraft swaps, and recovery scenarios to minimize disruption.
• Develop and drive real-time fleet health monitoring strategies and readiness assessments for the global fleet.
• Drive AI/ML technologies to enhance maintenance strategies and surface actionable insights.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance communications and develop protocols to manage service impacts.
• Create data-driven strategies to maximize On-Time Performance.
• Document lessons learned to improve operations across the network.
• Champion adoption of approved AI solutions within daily workflows and pilot new tools.
