Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector in Dallas, TX to oversee quality control tasks and enforce Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. This on-site role requires hands-on inspection, documentation, and coordination with technicians and customer programs.

You will ensure proper data usage, adhere to regulatory standards, and lead a team through complex maintenance activities while maintaining customer and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate is required.
• Experience with maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs for adherence to policies.
• Perform spot checks of maintenance activity to ensure compliance with AMM and RSQCM.
• Verify MEL procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Perform final aircraft walk-around and release processes.
• Communicate with customers and maintain documentation in real time.
