Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Senior Aircraft Component Technician for CNC or conventional machining. The role supports Service Center and Special Missions, with Mazatrol experience as a plus.

Responsibilities include setup of mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints, and training junior machinists, all in a FAA Repair Station environment. You will work on internal and external aircraft assemblies and subassemblies, employing advanced repair techniques, precision measuring tools,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. A&P, FCC, or NCATT preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, eng docs, CMP data, CBs and ASCs.
• Proficient in operation of tools and equipment in the department.
• 6 years experience in sheetmetal/hydraulic overhaul or avionics/elect components repair.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of advanced machining skills and tools for mech and elect assemblies.
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines (Mills 3,4,5 axis and lathes).
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD models.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment for conformance.
• Assist and train junior machinists.
