Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Senior Engineer to support hydro-mechanical systems for flight control, hydraulics, and landing gear. The role requires coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure design, testing, certification, and delivery align with program objectives.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in mechanical/aerospace engineering, strong CAD/analysis skills (CATIA, MATLAB, Simulink), and a proven track record in system certification. Location is Wichita, KS with office emphasis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with design, integration, development, and certification of hydro-mechanical systems
• Experience validating and verifying system requirements through design reviews and testing
• Ability to review supplier analyses and certification evidence for quality and compliance

Responsibilities

• Support integration of hydro-mechanical systems through design, testing, and certification activities
• Coordinate development activities between system suppliers and internal work packages
• Prepare qualification and certification tests in coordination with suppliers and stakeholders
• Review system design data, documentation, and certification evidence for quality
• Liaise with stress, reliability, and safety teams and provide technical resolutions
