Job summary

Axius Group LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a Professional Engineer - Air Systems/Pneumatics to perform systems engineering for aircraft pneumatic subsystems, defining architecture, requirements, and verification.

You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, review vendor documents, support test platforms, ground and flight tests, and ensure certification milestones, while meeting program schedules and engineering standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of aerospace engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems, aircraft integration, and certification documentation preferred.
  • Experience reviewing supplier technical documentation and supporting test platforms preferred.
  • Bilingual French and English required or preferred depending on program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a systems engineer for pneumatics in aircraft systems.
  • Define pneumatic system architecture, requirements, and interface control.
  • Coordinate with internal groups and suppliers on design and verification.
  • Review vendor drawings, test procedures, qualification reports, and certification documents.
  • Support ground and flight tests and document compliance with certification standards.
  • Ensure adherence to program schedules and milestones and assist in issue resolution and design changes.
