Job summary

General MRO Aerospace in Miami, FL is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, analyze, and improve hydraulic systems used in aviation applications, performing calculations, simulations, testing, and troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure designs meet aviation standards, and contribute to continuous improvement, reliability, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with fluid mechanics, fluid motion analysis, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic components, circuits, pressure, flow, and system control.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Design, develop, and evaluate hydraulic components and systems.
  • Perform calculations, simulations, testing, and troubleshooting.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, analysis, development, and improvement of hydraulic systems used in aviation applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of hydraulic components, circuits, pressure, flow, and system control.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aviation or aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience with aircraft hydraulic systems and related certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with engineering analysis and CAD/simulation tools.
  • Experience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, or system integration.
