Job summary

Arkwin Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of new aircraft hydraulic products. Based in Bethpage, NY, you will guide conceptual design, qualification planning, and production readiness for complex hydraulic components.

You will provide technical direction, perform analyses (tolerance, FEA, hydraulic and dynamic), coordinate transition to production, and mentor junior engineers while interfacing with customers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree required and minimum of 8 years of product design experience for hydraulic components or related field.
• Strong analytical background required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new aircraft hydraulic products for various business unit applications.
• Develop conceptual designs from customer specifications for proposals.
• Ensure production readiness and delivery of drawings and related data for assigned projects.
