Job summary

Radia, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, seeks a Senior Aircraft Fluid Systems Engineer to define, model, analyze, and integrate hydraulic, ECS, and thermal systems for WindRunner.

You will develop system-level models in Simulink, MATLAB, and Python, perform analyses, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure certification-ready design and aircraft integration. Remote candidates may be considered based on experience and travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant aircraft systems experience.
• Strong modeling and data-analysis with MATLAB, Simulink, Python.
• Experience with FAA Part 25 certification processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system-level models for ECS and hydraulic systems.
• Perform thermal, airflow, and fluid dynamics analyses.
• Support architecture definition, requirements, and verification planning.
• Lead supplier interactions and reviews.
• Provide 3D equipment layouts in CATIA.
• Prepare technical docs and presentations for stakeholders.
