Job summary

The Boeing Company in Maryland is seeking an Experienced Support Equipment Technician to join Boeing Global Services onsite at JB Andrews, MD. The role requires 5+ years maintaining aircraft GSE and readiness to deploy domestically and internationally on short notice.

You will work 1st shift, support 24/7 on-call coverage, and escalate issues while documenting actions and maintaining calibration/inventory records. This is an onsite position with potential travel and site deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
• Ability to work and support a 24/7 on-call rotation environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice; as much as 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking.
• Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
• Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components.
• Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
• Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
• Document maintenance and inspection actions as required.
• Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems.
• Deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) as required by leadership.
• Work under general supervision and with minimal direction.
