Radia, Inc. is seeking an experienced Flight Sciences leader to oversee WindRunner, a large Part 25 aircraft. You will manage aerodynamics, performance, loads, and control disciplines, ensure schedules and budgets, and coordinate with systems engineering and certification teams.

The role requires 15+ years in Flight Sciences, strong leadership, and deep technical knowledge across Flight Sciences domains. Boulder, CO preferred; remote candidates may be considered based on experience and travel

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Flight Sciences.
• At least 5 years in technical leadership, people leadership, or functional management roles.
• Deep expertise in multiple Flight Sciences disciplines and broad foundational knowledge.
• Experience with all phases of aircraft development lifecycle, incl. certification.
• Experience on a Part 25 airplane development program or strong certification understanding.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Flight Sciences organization, incl. aerodynamics, performance, loads, dynamics, stability and control, and mass properties.
• Provide technical leadership and review authority to ensure objectives are met.
• Guide recruiting, staffing plans, and organizational growth for the Flight Sciences team.
• Ensure engineering processes and standards are followed.
• Define regulatory requirements and means of compliance within Flight Sciences.
