Zusammenfassung

Peraton is seeking a senior-level Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineer with battery systems expertise to remotely support our NAVAIR customer in Maryland. You will work with the Navy’s Power & Energy division on development, evaluation, and certification of battery systems and related technologies.

The role involves leading reviews of technical documents, supporting lab revitalization and equipment integration, and collaborating with industry and academia to mature battery technologies.

Qualifikationen

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or similar with battery systems experience.
At least 3 years’ experience in aircraft battery systems, developmental and fielded.
Secret security clearance or ability to obtain.
U.S. citizenship required.

Aufgaben

Support battery system development, evaluation, and certification as part of a team.
Review technical reports, plans, and qualification documentation (MIL specs, test reports, etc.).
Assist in development of Battery Test & Evaluation Lab revitalization proposals and lab equipment integration.
Evaluate and compare potential battery technologies and collaborate with industry/academia partners.
Lead SBIR/STTR/NISE project efforts related to developmental battery systems.
