Job summary

V2X Inc. in Bay Point, CA is seeking an Aircraft Electronics Technician II to maintain generators, load banks, starters, relays, and weapons release components on military aircraft.

You will apply advanced technical knowledge to diagnose complex failures and perform wiring, testing, and documentation tasks to support daily flight schedules. Candidates should have 5+ years of US Navy/Marine/Coast Guard level maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training desirable.
• 5 years USN/USMC/USCG CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) maintenance experience.
• 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance for the specified aircraft (P-8).
• Experience as CDI or CDQAR; knowledge of flight control, stabilization, weapons integration, and fuel systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Honorable discharge from military service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, load banks, starters, relays, and related systems.
• Handle weapons load and aircraft instruments responsibilities as required.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to diagnose complex issues and document findings.
• Direct Level I personnel to accomplish maintenance tasks per DoD definitions.
• Provide guidance to lower-level technicians during modifications and maintenance.
