Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Level 4 Senior Principal Airborne System Operator in Chantilly, VA to support ground and flight tests, sensor operation, and data analysis. You will join a team responsible for FMV/EO/IR imagery operations and system verification tasks.

The role requires extensive experience with airborne systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with a Bachelors; 6 with Masters; 3 with PhD; 12 years may substitute education.
• Must be familiar with FMV operations and imagery manipulation.
• Proficient using MS Office; experience with imagery software.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Full Motion Video (FMV) and EO/IR imagery operations to support verification and testing.
• Operate in a high pace environment; communicate with leadership, customers, and other team members.
• Multi-task objectives while monitoring equipment status and customer requirements.
• Define plans and execute complex operation profiles and test events.
• Prepare and present technical reports and coordinate with customers and engineers.
