Ramboll, a global environment and health consultancy, seeks a Managing Consultant for Air and Climate. You will lead complex air quality projects, coordinate permitting and modeling, and guide cross‑functional teams across the U.S. with a focus on delivering compliant, high‑quality outcomes.

You will work within Ramboll's Environment & Health division, collaborating with professionals from various regions. A strong background in air quality, permits, modeling, and client relations is essential

Formación

• Requires a technical degree (engineering or Atmospheric Science) with quantitative coursework.
• 9+ years of air quality consulting experience including permitting, compliance, or dispersion modeling.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and cross‑functional leadership.
• Experience in client relationship management and business development activities.
• Deep understanding of air pollution control technologies and modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD).
• Ability to interpret federal/state air regulations (Clean Air Act programs).
• Proficiency in Excel; programming experience (Python/R) and databases is a plus.
• Mentor and develop junior staff in technical and consulting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as technical lead on complex air quality projects.
• Review and interpret local, state, and federal air regulations and permit requirements.
• Manage client relationships and deliverables with high quality and efficiency.
• Prepare air permit applications and environmental reports for various industries.
• Estimate emissions and perform engineering evaluations of sources.
