Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or related science (air quality coursework a plus).
• 9+ years of air quality experience.
• Strong computing skills including spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations.
• Programming, database and GIS skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations with focus on air compliance.
• Maintaining client relationships and managing deliverables to meet client needs.
• Serving as the technical lead overseeing consultant-level staff on complex projects.
• Estimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
• Supporting air dispersion modeling of air pollution dispersion.
• Preparing air quality permit applications and environmental reports.
• EPCRA Tier II and TRI Reporting.
• Other environmental regulatory compliance experience is a plus.
