Job summary

Brightstar Lottery is seeking an experienced AI Vision Engineer to join our Product and Technology team in a hybrid role in West Greenwich, RI. You will design and optimize high-performance C/C++ software, develop computer vision and image processing solutions, and apply ML/DL techniques to enhance recognition and processing across our lottery platforms.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of C/C++ software experience, strong CV/Image Processing skills, and familiarity with embedded systems and

Qualifications

8+ years of experience developing software solutions using C/C++, including computer vision, image processing, ML, or related AI technologies.
Proven experience designing and implementing computer vision and image processing algorithms.
Familiarity with embedded systems and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software and embedded applications using C and C++.
Design and optimize computer vision and image processing solutions (OCR/OMR/barcode recognition, multispectral imaging).
Apply ML/DL methodologies to improve recognition, classification, and processing capabilities.
Build and manage image datasets for training, validation, and evaluation of AI models.
