Job summary

CACI seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on research prototyping and scalable AI/ML deployments across multiple domains. You will develop and refine algorithms for object detection, NLP, time series, RL and LLMs, collaborating with interdisciplinary experts and mentoring teammates.

The role emphasizes training/deployment pipelines, AWS services, and staying at the forefront of AI research, with a focus on mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Required: B.S. in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or related field
• Required: 5+ years of AI/ML development experience
• Required: Proficiency with Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, Polars
• Required: Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning
• Required: Experience with deep learning architectures
• Required: Experience contributing on a team using version control (e.g. git, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Required: Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Implement machine learning algorithms as part of a small interdisciplinary team
• Analyze large multi-domain datasets including images, text, time series, and graph data
• Review and apply cutting-edge research publications
• Create technical documentation and user guides
• Understand training and deployment pipelines including AWS services
• Provide training and mentoring to team members
