Job summary

Fiserv is seeking a Lead AI Transformation Engineer in Omaha to elevate AI-driven engineering practices. You will guide standards, reviews, and tool adoption across mainframe and distributed stacks, ensuring secure, scalable delivery of Java/Spring, .NET, Angular, and Python solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-assisted workflows, and partner with AI CoE, Cloud, and Security to deliver measurable improvements in quality and throughput. This is an on-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with staff/architect influence.
8+ years across mainframe and distributed tech including Assembler/COBOL and Java.
8+ years CI/CD, DevOps, and AppOps practices with production support.
8+ years cloud-native/containerized environments (OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP).
5+ years modernizing mainframe systems with distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

Set and evolve coding standards, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and security posture.
Lead solution and code reviews to raise quality across teams using Java/Spring, .NET, Angular, Python.
Translate enterprise mandates into actionable delivery and reference implementations.
Champion AI-assisted development tools and measure impact on quality and throughput.
Provide technical training and mentorship toward architectural thinking and production ownership.
