Job summary

Fiserv is seeking a Lead AI Transformation Engineer to advance AI-driven engineering practices within the Issuer Solutions portfolio. You will collaborate with software development and mainframe teams to drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

You will set engineering standards, lead architecture reviews, and bridge corporate platform teams with delivery teams to translate enterprise mandates into actionable work, while mentoring

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 5 years at staff/architect level.
• 8+ years across mainframe and distributed tech, bridging legacy and modern architectures.
• 8+ years of CI/CD, DevOps, AppOps incl. production support & incident management.
• 8+ years of cloud-native and containerized environments (OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 8+ years of experience with modern databases (SQL, No-SQL) and mainframe data stores where applicable.
• 3+ years adopting and championing AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve engineering standards across the Issuer Solutions portfolio.
• Conduct solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and design consultations.
• Bridge the gap between corporate platform teams and delivery teams by translating enterprise mandates into actionable delivery.
• Champion adoption and integration of AI-assisted engineering workflows with measurable impact.
• Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI developer tools across the organization.
• Deliver technical training and enablement sessions on AI adoption while mentoring senior engineers.
