Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Principal AI Transformation Consultant, Professional Services, to lead AI-enabled transformation engagements for CoCounsel and Thomson Reuters solutions. You will work with senior leaders, Sales, AI engineers, and product teams from discovery to rollout, shaping workflows, adoption strategies, and measurable value realization.

You will embed with client teams, manage complex scope, and drive responsible, governance-aware change across legal, tax, and trade domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 10+ years in professional services, management consulting, transformation consulting, or complex AI delivery.
• Experience leading transformation engagements and measurable customer outcomes.
• Ability to advise executives and translate strategy into practical plans.
• Commercial judgment in shaping opportunities, scoping work, and estimating efforts.
• Analytical ability to combine data and stakeholder evidence into value measures.
• Experience in legal, tax, trade, or another complex regulated domain.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities, adoption, and responsible-use considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transformation engagements from discovery to value realization.
• Advise senior leaders on AI-enabled workflows and required changes to roles and practices.
• Shape opportunities from early discovery through delivery planning with Sales and teams.
• Own critical decisions when path is unclear and manage scope commitments.
• Set adoption strategy; diagnose and recover stalled adoption.
• Establish value hypotheses, baselines, and evidence standards for customer claims.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to translate technical work into workflow change.
• Coach consultants and turn field learning into reusable methods.
