Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel for remote, contract-based work focused on technology transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, redlining, and playbook development. This role emphasizes evaluating AI-generated content and developing playbooks for contract tasks.

No prior AI experience is required; candidates should have a JD, bar admission, and 3+ years of in-house tech transaction experience. Collaboration with legal, product, and research teams is essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions.
• Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related commercial agreements.
• Excellent contract drafting, redlining, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract drafting, redlining, and simulated negotiations.
• Review MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology agreements.
• Evaluate AI-generated contract analysis and provide expert feedback.
• Develop playbooks, evaluation frameworks, and grading criteria for contract tasks.
• Identify legal risks, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with legal, product, and research teams remotely.
