Job summary

Firecrawl is hiring a Senior Commercial & Product Counsel in San Francisco to own the company’s commercial and product legal work end to end. You will negotiate enterprise deals, data-licensing, and vendor contracts while advising engineers on AI questions and policy.

This is the second legal hire, reporting to the General Counsel, with substantial impact on risk and speed. You will build templates, playbooks, and processes that enable fast, compliant deployment of AI-enabled products across

Qualifications

Must be a member in good standing of at least one US state bar.
Experience negotiating sophisticated technology, data licensing, and product-related agreements.
Ability to advise product and engineering teams on AI, data access, and privacy issues.

Responsibilities

Negotiate enterprise customer, data-licensing, vendor, and partnership agreements end-to-end.
Advise product/engineering on data access, privacy, AI, IP, and regulatory questions.
Develop templates, playbooks, and processes to accelerate deals with reduced risk.
Decide when outside counsel is needed and manage relationships accordingly.
Collaborate with sales, BD, and engineering to move deals quickly and safely.
