Job summary

Firecrawl is seeking a Commercial Counsel in San Francisco to draft and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, data-licensing deals, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnerships. You will sit with sales and BD, own the negotiation to signature, and help shape templates and playbooks as the company scales its AI data offerings.

You will advise on data rights, privacy, confidentiality, security, IP, and indemnification while working with product and engineering on data access issues.

Qualifications

• Negotiated real technology agreements across the table with counterparties.
• Autonomy to carry a deal through to signature without hand-holding.
• Ability to identify novel issues and elevate them early.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, data-licensing deals, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements
• Be the legal partner sales and BD actually want in the room
• Advise on data rights, privacy, confidentiality, security, IP, indemnification, and limitations of liability
• Work with product and engineering on data access and AI questions in deals
• Build and maintain templates, playbooks, and approval thresholds to keep deals moving
• Support compliance programs and company policies
• Spot matters needing GC or outside counsel and elevate early
• Take on additional legal needs as the company grows
