Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to help embed AI capabilities into Oracle products within the OCI AI Innovation organization. You will contribute to the architecture, implementation, and evolution of AI-enabled product capabilities, collaborating with engineering, product, and AI teams.

You will design scalable AI systems across large codebases, own platform components, and deliver reliable, production-ready features with strong technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable AI-enabled systems across large codebases.
• Ability to architect and deliver production-grade AI features with low latency.
• Strong understanding of agent execution, model serving, and AI workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deliver scalable agentic AI systems with reasoning, planning, and tool use.
• Own OCI AI platform capabilities including agent execution, inference, and observability.
• Build production-grade services for tool calling, memory, vector retrieval, and multi-agent coordination.
• Develop distributed services optimized for low latency, high throughput, and secure multi-tenant operation.
• Define APIs, data models, and SLIs/SLOs for AI platform services.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, databases, and identity systems.
• Establish AgentOps and LLMOps practices for monitoring, testing, and safety guardrails.
• Evaluate emerging generative AI technologies and developer tooling for production readiness.
• Lead code reviews, design reviews, and deployment automation to ensure reliability.
